
On March 24th, Chu-Gooding founding principal Annie Chu will visit the Ohio State University campus to discuss the life and work of Frank D. Israel with author Todd Gannon in a program hosted by the OSU Knowlton School.
Gannon’s monograph explores the life and legacy of Franklin D. Israel, a key figure in the Los Angeles school of architecture. Annie worked with Frank from 1990 to 1996, both as a Senior Associate for Franklin D. Israel design associates and as a Principal of Israel Callas Chu Shortridge design associates. As a Project Designer and Project Architect for Franklin D. Israel design associates, Annie contributed to the Limelight Productions remodel (AIA National Honor Award for Interior Architecture), the LACMA Children’s Art Workshop renovation, the Rebel Entertainment recording studios, Phase II of the UCLA Southern Regional Library project, and the Drager House in Berkeley, California (Architectural Record Magazine, Record House Award).
